Based on the initial assessment, we craft a comprehensive migration strategy which includes Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reports, migration plan to outline the migration approach (AWS 7Rs), timeline, and resource allocation, and a Business Plan to seek funding approvals if required. These are done through a series of workshops which includes all the key stakeholders. We identify three representative workloads to be part of the Pilot migration.
Foundation
Platform
Preparation is key to a successful migration. We work closely with your team to prepare your environment for the cloud. Pilot Migration
Working closely with your development teams, we prepare individual cloud deployment design and migration plans for the Pilot applications. Automation scripts are written to create cloud resources, instances, databases, etc. We work with dev, ops, and security teams to refine existing test cases for the new cloud environment. The migration plan includes details like data migration approach, final cutoff, etc.
Factory
Replicate
Migration plan, Design templates, and Automation scripts are continuously updated based on our learning from the Pilot Migration. The migration Factory plan is developed to create a repeatable process to migrate the rest of the workloads.
